Environment Awards My poem was awarded second prize by the County Council for the School Environment Poetry Competition, under-10. I got a certificate and a book. OUR ENVIRONMENT People come and listen, to what I have to say, Our towns are getting dirtier day by day, There's litter in the street, Rubbish everywhere People drop their wrappers, and they don't seem to care.
We need to work together, and involve everyone, From children to adults, it could be lots of fun, So come on everybody, let's be on our way, And clean up our for a brighter new clean day. by Marie |
