The Haunted School

One day after school Amy and Karen were walking past the school when they heard a noise. The noise went on and it didn't stop. The girls felt very scared. They ran home and told their mothers that there was a ghost in the school. Their mothers didn't believe them but Amy and Karen knew that there was something there. They went back the next day but there was nothing there. The went back the next day and there was something there. Amy and Karen were very scared and they ran all the way home screaming. They told their friends but they wouldn't believe them. Amy and Karen had to do something. So they thought and thought and then they had an idea. They decided they would go into the school. But when they went in they saw that it was only a teacher printing on the computer. So they went home and told their mothers that they were right. There was no ghost in the school at all.

I Went Fishing

Mary

One day I went fishing with daddy and Helen. We caught loads of fish. We caught big ones and small ones. We even caught jelly fish and star fish but we put them back in again. We caught a big salmon. We caught about five of them. We had a good time. Daddy remembered about the salmon of knowledge. He said we have to find it so we fished till it got dark but there was still no sign of the salmon of knowledge. I said come on dad its getting dark let's go home so we went home. Next morning we got up early and went fishing again.

The play

We are doing a play for first and second class. We are doing "The Clown who Can't Smile". I am the clown who can't smile. It is on in Carriglea on Thursday 3rd of April at half seven. I end up smiling with Tanya. We are singing Zippy Douda and we throw buckets of glitter at each other. I get send back to clown school but I get send out of clown school. Tanya is my cousin and I teach her how to be a clown. I get in trouble with the ringmaster and Mr. Big.

I Went Fishing

One day I went fishing with my dad. We went to the Blackwater in the boat. I had mackerel and worms and maggots for bait. I caught a 3Ib. perch, a 14Ib. white trout, a 5Ib. brown trout and 20Ib. salmon. My dad caught 14Ib. perch, an 18Ib. white trout, a 19Ib. brown trout and a 50Ib. salmon. I caught the salmon with the maggots and the 50Ib. salmon with a spinner, the 14Ib. perch with a bit of mackerel, the 3Ib. perch with a worm. I caught the5Ib. brown trout with maggots and the 18Ib white trout with mackerel. And I went home and had dinner.

I Went Fishing

It was a Saturday, I went fishing to the river. My dad said if you want to catch a fish why don't you wish. I am going to wish for a perch my dad did not know what it was. I laughed everyone knows what a perch is. It is a river or a lake fish. We started fishing and I caught a perch! When my dad saw it he wanted to eat it. I said no and I screamed. We brought it home. My brother was crying because he wanted to eat it too. But I was angry and I gave it to the cat.

I had a Halloween party

I Went Fishing

I went fishing in the river on a nice sunny day . It took me ages to catch a fish. But finally I caught a salmon, later I caught a perch and we cooked the perch for dinner. The next day we went fishing again and I caught another salmon and a perch and my sister had a perch and I a salmon and my dad had a salmon too.

I went fishing in the river. I was trying to catch a perch but it is hard. I tried and tried but I couldn't catch it. You would be famous if you got it. I tried with a rod and net.

The Cadbury egg

We got Cadbury Eggs last week for the Russia charity. They were two euro and they were in chickens and ducks. Some people got two. But some people had to gave 1 away because there was not a lot. 6th class sold them.

I went fishing

Last Saturday I went fishing with my dad. I caught four fish and my dad caught seven fish. It was very very hot so I took off my jumper. Most of the fish we caught were salmon. When we got home we had fish for tea. My dad said that we would go fishing again next Saturday.

SHANNON AND JORDAN

On Sunday Shannon and Jordan came home from Scotland. We were at my aunt's house 3 times. It will be our 6th time. We went bowling with them. We made a cabby at my aunt's house. My aunt got a new puppy.

My project

I am doing a project about Ford tractors. My father has two ford tractors. All second class are doing a project. There is a first prize. Some people are joining.

Special Olympics

People from the Bahamas are coming to Ireland. They are coming because of the Special Olympics which is being held in Dublin. The Bahamas people are training for the Special Olympics.

Material people

We made material people. Mr de Búrca gave us people drawn on a sheet and we put material on the people for clothes. We wrote our names on the sheet and stuck them up on the wall. We could bring them home if we wanted.

Our first penance

We had our first penance on Friday the 21 of March. Me and Jason were reading while the others did a play called The Good Shepherd. Conor was the shepherd. Everybody else were the sheep. After a while we had to go up to Father Butler and tell him our sins. Then the mass was over and we all went home.

Painting day

We were painting the shed. It's really cool. The whole school got a go. The infants were first, then second class, then third class then the other classes. It's nearly finished. There's only a small bit left before it is finished.
