WINGS If I had wings I could fly to Spain, but I might get a pain because of the rain. My wings would get caught and I be shot and that would be the lot. This is just to say I’ve crashed your car near elephant bar it was wet and dark and I couldn’t see and all of a shot the wall hit me see you soon look after my room Tickly Poems Today I saw a little ant, It crawled into my favourite plant. I went to see where it had gone, Then it started to sing a song. It went like poo poo wee wee poo, Then I said ‘shut up’ or you're going down the loo. I told mum and she said this ‘You must be going round the twist’. I told dad, He said ‘your’re going mad’. No one believed me about what I said, So I might as well go off to bed. Dear God I wonder if you can see An old scrappy cat like me Has come to the time of life That wants no more trouble or strife My fights are all won Catching mice I’m all done The roof tiles don’t call and I’ve climbed my last wall A warm bed at night Would be a welcoming sight A saucer of cream my wish and A plate full of fish the dish For an old scrappy cat like me While I wait for, my god, to see thee. I Had Red Sauce on My I had red sauce on my chips. Why? Because I Wanted to. Why? Because it is lovely. Why? Because that is the way it is made. Why? Stop saying WHY! Why? I had a bear for dinner!
