Sheep farming Many farmers keep sheep on the poorer parts of their farms or hills and
mountains. Sheep do not require as much care as other farm animals and are
able to withstand the cold and wet of winter. However in the spring time
when lambs are born the farmer is very busy caring for them especially if
the winter is bad. The farmer usually has a good sheepdog to help him to
round up the sheep on the hill. By David in 5th class The story of the Shepherd
